How it starts
One conversation. Three honest answers.
Most people reach out half-expecting to be told they’re not ready and sent on their way. That is not how this goes. It’s 45 to 60 minutes, it’s free, and you leave with one of three answers. Every one of them comes with a path.
Yes. You're ready.
We build the plan around your timing and your budget, and we move when you say move. No rush on our side, ever.
Yes. Just not yet.
Not yet is not a no. It's a plan, a date, and someone walking it with you until the date arrives.
Not right now. And that's okay.
If the honest answer is wait, we say wait, and we tell you exactly what would change the answer.
When financing is part of your plan, a licensed lender gives you the written read on where you stand. We make one introduction to the right lender for your situation.
Four honest starting points
Start where you are. Each one is a free, honest read on the move in front of you. No charge, and nothing you have to do next.

Search live listings→Why Momentus exists
Momentus was built for a different kind of buyer. The one who wants to understand the decision, not just close on a house.
Nearly 30 years combined in banking and real estate. More than 1,500 families guided to closing, over 600 of them veteran families, and 1,425+ new construction homes across North Texas. Guidance first, every time.

In their words
As a first-time buyer, I was overwhelmed by the process, but everything was broken down into manageable steps.
My home was listed and under contract faster than I ever imagined.
From day one, I felt supported and informed. Every question was answered quickly, and I never felt rushed.

Questions people ask
- What is Momentus Real Estate Group?
- Momentus Real Estate Group is a Dallas-Fort Worth brokerage built on one idea: people first, houses second. We start with where you actually are, not with a listing. Most people come to us somewhere in the middle of a decision, and the first thing we do is sit down and give you one honest picture of the move in front of you.
- Who is Maureen Cappallo?
- Maureen Cappallo is the Founder and Broker of Momentus Real Estate Group, with nearly 30 years combined in banking and real estate. She has sat with more than 1,500 families, including over 600 veteran families, and has helped families into more than 1,425 new construction homes across North Texas. She built Momentus around the conversation most brokerages skip: an honest read on where you are before you tour a single home.
- Where does Momentus serve?
- Momentus serves eight North Texas counties: Collin, Denton, Tarrant, Dallas, Ellis, Kaufman, Rockwall, and Grayson. We work across all of Dallas-Fort Worth, north to south and east to west, from the large planned communities everyone names to the small towns farther out. We work remotely across the metro, so where you are in DFW does not limit who can sit with you.
- What is the free conversation, and what does it cost?
- It is one honest conversation, 45 to 60 minutes, free. We talk about where you actually are: the timing, the math, the home that would fit the life you live now. You leave with a clear picture from start to finish, and there is no charge and no obligation to do anything next.
- Do I have to be ready to buy or sell before I reach out?
- No. Most people reach out half-expecting to be told they're not ready and sent on their way, and that is not how this goes. After we talk, what comes back is one of three honest answers: "Yes. You're ready." or "Yes. Just not yet." or "Not right now, and that's okay." "Not yet" is not a no. It's a plan, a date, and someone walking it with you.
- Who tells me where I stand on financing?
- A lender does, in writing. When financing is part of your plan, we make one introduction to the right lender for your situation, and that lender tells you where you stand and puts it in writing. Maureen Cappallo is a Texas real estate broker, not a loan officer or tax advisor, so credit, qualification, and rate questions route to the appropriate licensed professionals.
- What does Momentus actually do once we start working together?
- We keep every moving part stitched together so you get one clear picture from start to finish, and you are never handed off and forgotten. We own the conversation, the matching to the right people, and the coordination across the whole move. The lender owns the written read on your financing, your county appraisal district confirms tax questions, and we keep it all connected so nothing falls through the gap.
