Momentus is a Texas brokerage built around a simple belief: before anything gets signed, you deserve honest answers, a clear path, and the confidence to decide what is right for you.

When Maureen Cappallo founded Momentus in 2024, the vision was simple: create a brokerage where people could ask the real questions, understand their options, and make decisions with confidence.

As Momentus grew, the model became clearer.

The office was never the most important part of the company. The trust was. The conversations were. The preparation, guidance, and follow-through were.

Today, Momentus is a fully remote Texas brokerage serving families across DFW. That model allows us to put our attention where clients actually feel it: in how well we listen, how clearly we explain, how carefully we prepare, and how consistently we follow through.

Meet the person behind Momentus

Maureen Cappallo spent 15 years in Canadian banking before she ever held a Texas real estate license. She saw up close how financial decisions are really made: not only through numbers, but at the intersection of fear, hope, and timing.

She moved to Texas in 2009, became a U.S. citizen in 2022, and has spent the past 14 years helping DFW families through one of the most personal financial decisions they will ever make.

Nearly 30 years of combined experience, all centered on the same thing: helping people understand where they stand before they take the next step.

Along the way, Maureen has helped more than 1,500 families reach closing. That experience includes working with more than 600 veteran families and guiding more than 1,425 new-construction homes from dirt to keys across North Texas.

In 2024, she founded Momentus.

Through the process of building and reshaping the company, Maureen became even clearer about what experience really means.

It is not only knowing how to complete a transaction.

It is knowing when someone should move forward, when they should pause, which questions have not been asked yet, and how to protect the decision either way.

She built Momentus around the parts of real estate that clients can actually feel: honesty, preparation, clarity, and care.

How it works here

It starts with one honest conversation.

45 to 60 minutes, free. A phone call, a video call, or face to face, whatever works for you. We talk about where you actually are: the timing, the math, and the home that would fit the life you live now.

When financing is part of your plan, we make one introduction to the right lender for your situation. That lender tells you exactly where you stand and puts it in writing.

Then you get one of three honest answers. “Yes. You’re ready.” Or “Yes. Just not yet,” with a plan and a date. Or “Not right now, and that’s okay.” Every answer comes with a path, and someone walking it with you.

From there, we own the conversation, the matching to the right people, and the coordination across the whole move. You get one clear picture from start to finish, and you are never handed off and forgotten.
